Disneyland!!

One week after Christmas we went to disneyland!! Yea! We went from as soon as the park opened to about as long as th boys could handle (8 or 9) :). We were suprised that Koby was tall enough (40in) to ride alot of the rides in Disneyland which was such a nice and fun suprise! He loved the star tours I think the best but he also really loved splash mountain. He cried during space mountain. I think he was so suprised that his parents would take him on such a dangerous ride when we are constantly saying "get down Koby.. you'll get hurt." I'm sure that was confusing. Once he figured out what Disneyland was all about as soon as we finished one ride he would say, "let's go find a new one!" He loved it! Brody loved all of it too! He loved seeing characters and loved It's a Small World. He got so excited during the parade that he couldn't even form words. He would just grunt and point at whatever he was so excited about. Everyone sitting around us definitely heard him and new that he was very excited! They bothed loved pirates! Brody got pretty scared in that one and started to cry a little but the second time we rode it he was excited about it and didn't get scared at all. In the treehouse Koby got pretty scared but then we told him that it was ok it was just toys (fake). He used that the whole time when he thought something was a little scary he would say, "it's ok, its just toys." We loved it! We got to go to the beach too. Koby just took off running and loved it until he fell down and then he was pretty much done with the water! He got soaking wet and we ended up taking off his clothes! Brody was really scared of it at first but soon got the hang of it and didn't want to get out! We decided we wanted to spend our next vacation lounging at the beach. Sounds so relaxing! Disneyland wore us out!

Christmas

Christmas came and went and was so enjoyable with our boys. We spent Christmas Eve with Kalebs family doing a little get together. We decorated Christmas cookies for Santa and we had fun just visiting and eating yummy food. Kaleb worked Christmas Even night so he went off to work. When he got home Christmas morning we got to see the loot that Santa brought us. The boys loved opening presents and just tore into them. We love Christmas time and the time we get to remember all those in our family and community who we love so dearly. I get all choked up when I think about the great people that I'm surrounded by. I had to work this year from 1 to 7 so my mother and father in law were so nice to watch the boys while Kaleb slept and then he had to work Christmas night as well. I have some video that I will download of Christmas too. Kaleb and I are so blessed to have such fun little boys. We love them!

Kobys Birthday!

We had such a fu little party or Koby! He had a blast! We had a pinata a these kids loved it! We had cream of broccoli soup with rolls an then icecream and cake. What a fun time! Koby loved all of his presents and was a natural at the guitar. He knew how to hold it and everything. He loved his bike and went out to the garage to ride it. The other three went along to cheer him on. We sure do love you Koby! Can't believe you are already 4! Blows me away!

Fall

Picture overload I know! We've had great fun this fall! The first few pictures are just some of the boys being silly. They like to dress in dads socks and shoes and well hats too. The next one they are helping me make macaroni and cheese after church. Good helpers! Sometimes. Lets see I think next we are out getting wood with grandma and papa. We got a full trailor and truck load and had a great time doing it. The boys loved being out there. Brody is a good helper and Koby we kind of had to push a bit. We sure do appreciate the help of mom and dad getting some wood for the long winter ahead. Then the other grandma and papa hid some pumpkins for the kids in their yard and had the kids find them. They loved it! Then they had a pumpkin rolling contest. Next is the knights in shining armor. They were quite cute in their costumes I must say. (as long as you don't look too close at their chain mail sp) Their mom isn't quite on the up and up of sewing but hey they loved it and didn't know any difference so if their happy I'm happy. They thought Halloween was the best thing EVER. Next thing that happened to us is we got an ultrasound on Halloween and well...its another boy to had to the family! The boys were in the ultrasound and Koby was confused and kept saying baby sister and they he wanted the baby to come out and Brody called it a monster. We thought it was really funny! We are so happy to be having another boy. I love my boys! Now we can really be official with 3 of them! I am just going to have to wait to get daughters until they get married! Another thing... can I just say. My husband is such a stud! I love him with all my heart! He treats me so good and I love him with all of my heart! God gave us families to help us become what he wants us to be! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

These boys are always getting into something! They are getting so big and grown up! I love them tons and hope they know that my world revolves around them. :) Lately the air has been crisp and it has been lovely! I love when its cool in the morning and evening. I love being a home maker. Lately I have enjoyed making my own laundry soup, dishwasher soup and making my own yogurt. I love the internet and the lovely ideas you can find there. I have been feeling really good! I'm finally finding myself being very excited for this little one growing inside. What an amazing and wonderful thing. It is truly a miracle! I am in love with my life and my little family! I am so blessed!

HOLY PICTURES HUH!!! We had fabulous week! I LOVED it so much! Aunt Bons family was in charge and as you can see we had a rodeo on Saturday. Kobys horse was "monster" and Brodys was "tanker". There was some pretty funny horses! We had the reunion at the B-13 ranch because of the Wallow fire. I had it really good because I got to stay in my Grandmas and Grandpas trailor. The boys and I slept so good! They got a nap everyday. Need I say more. So the one picture where my dad is sitting at the table with the boys has a story behind that. I was doing Zumba one morning and my dad found th boys spraying bug repellant into their eyes so he took them down and hosed them off. Well they weren't real happy with grandpa so I made them sit right there and watch me finish my Zumba. Afterward I made them hold hands all the way down to the chicken coop and tell Grandpa sorry. And they did just that and they held hands all the way back to camp holding hands. Gosh what mischief! My little boys have so many awesome cousins to look up to. They had a blast playing with them all and wrestling with them. I really am so happy that they have good examples to look up to. I love all you boys so much! I think Jhett and Koby have this thing for eachother. Lets see what else... well my Dad just dove in the pool one morning and alot of people followed. Including my boys. They love the water. Brody says "waader" "waader" over and over. I love just being with my family. I am so excited for my cousins to go on missions. Lets see Gavins out now and then it'll be Treston then Derek and then Justing then Bo I believe. I loved going on a walk with Allee (my sister) and Tiffany (my cousin) and talking about life. I loved doing Zumba with my super cool Aunts and cousins and even my brother for one session. I loved watching Koby and Brody go down the water slide. Brody LOVED it the first day. I feel sad because I didn't get a good picture of him doing it. I loved watching Blake (my brother) and April dance and missing Kaleb so bad! I love seeing all my Aunts laughing like there is no tomorrow (literally). I loved having conversations about standards! I just wish I could tell each family memeber how much I love them! I want to gather each one in a giant hug and let them know that families are forever! I can't really express what I feel. I just know that God gave us families to help us become what he wants us to be.

The 4th

The fourth was fun! The boys loved the parade with all the candy gathering! Brody LOVED the horses and kept asking if there was going to be more horses. Then we went home and played in the water out front. Kaleb had to sleep because he worked the night before so we just had some fun in the front yard. Koby and I played catch with his frisbee for a long time. He thought it was so awesome when we actually caught one! Then we went to the inlaws for a yummy dinner. We watched the kids dance on the patio. We are grateful to celebrate our freedom!

Hahaha! This picture makes me laugh! It was a Sunday afternoon. Windy of course and Kaleb and I didn't want to go outside and the boys did. So they dressed themselves. Koby with pants no shirt and a jacket and Brody with pants they may not be pulled up all the way but still. We laughed about it because they were out there for a bit and Brody didn't mind at all that he was tripping over his pants the whole time. I love these little guys.

The boys loved coloring eggs! Koby really like looking at the colors! He is all about his colors right now. Everytime I give him candy or anything he asks for a "ed" (red) one. The boys had fun finding eggs with thier cousin Peyton. The best though was Erin got them those little worm thingies with the fishing line attached and well that was a big hit!

Kaleb went fishing at black river and came back with fish as you can see and....a rattle snake! He said that he could see it swimming towards him so he got a rock and killed it! He had it in a plastic bag and i went to look in it and he just nonchalantaly said "thats a rattlesnake" so I screamed. Then the boys were all scared of it and Kaleb was trying to get them to touch it. They wouldn't. Kaleb skinned the thing (i know weird) and now we have a snake skin pinned to a board in our garage! The boys are obsessed with it and everytime we come home they have touch it! Gross!

Brody was so funny at his birthday! He loved opening his presents of course. He was so excited about them. He is such a funny little guy! I can't believe he is 2 already! I can't imagine our family without him. He really does make it exciting. He's always picking on somebody or giving them loves. Either way we love him!

My mom came a spent a day with us after I had my surgery. We made batman and superman capes for Brody for his birthday. Mom made a few meals for us that we could just get out of the freezer and she made bread too. Well Koby helped. He love having his Grandma here. He was so excited! While we were making the capes he was so into it and he kept saying superman. We should have counted how many times he said it! Like seriously A TON of times. It was a great day! I love my mom!

This was one of our first "warm" days of the year so of course we went to the park! The boys saw the sprinklers and well I guess I don't need to explain the rest! They loved it! Then we came home an Koby wanted to make a sandwich. I let Koby do it and guess what he made? a turkey, peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He ate it up too! What a weird little kiddo huh?!

My boys seriously have issues with pictures....mmmmm....where did they get that? What can I say they are just like their dad! This was the best one that I got. Aren't they handsome though! I think they are absolutely the funnest most amazing little people ever! I can't believe that I am their mom. I hope they know that I think they are so awesome! Catch up time! Why oh why do I do this to myself? Because when I look at all the fun pictures from months past I can't help but at least post them because I have no idea if I will ever get to scrapbooking! I love these two! Brody went thru a stage where his spiderman costume was all he would wear all day and night. He was so tuckered out he just fell asleep on the floor. Koby finally was posing for the camera. He NEVER does this so I felt especailly happy that I got these cute shots of him!

Learning, Loving, Growing, and Gratitude

I am so blessed with good people in my life. I have a wonderful husband who really is always trying to please me and to make things better for our family. He loves me no matter what even if I do wear scruffy clothes every evening. I have the most outstanding boys. They are the most loud, fun, happy, sad, noisy, annoying, loveable, emotional, joyful, playful, curious, questioning, sweet, snuggly, grumpy, hungry, tired, energetic boys you'll ever meet and they keep me going and happy. I have wonderful family that care and love me. They are willing to help me out with whatever I may need. I have some really amazing friends that are always willing to check in on me and to call me. I hope that I can always be aware of others in need. I have some great examples. And last but not least. I am grateful to my Heavenly Father. He loves me. He know me and what I need. I trust him and put my faith in him. I thank him for showing me my blessings and making me grateful for what I have. I truly am grateful for the power of the priesthood and the power of gratitude. I have to say too that I am extremely grateful for medicine. It really is amazing. All the instruments, medicine and technology. It seriously amazes me. I love it. I am grateful to be apart of it. I am feeling the love!

Oh ya nother thing...Koby says my tummy hurts when he wants a drink especially a drink of mom and dads soda. Well the other day I was loading them up and I was going to work so I grabbed a soda to drink there and Koby started saying his tummy hurt and he says "mommy my tummy way bad." I thought it was so cute!

Koby
* Loves to give me all kinds of different kisses (pisses) such as batman, ironman, cloudy with a chance of meatballs and just regular.
* Has started to ask why
* Will pull down his pants to show you his underwear and then stick out his little bum bum to make sure you see the cartoon figure on his pants
* Only referrs to colors as they match up with super hero figures etc..ironman-red, green-hulk. It is also how we get him to eat his food but I need to know more superheroes with different colors :)
* If you ask him to fix his hair he sticks out his tongue and gets both of his hands then rubs them thru his hair. (I did not teach him this and I don't even clean his face with my spit!)

Brody
* Walks around all day in his spiderman outfit with his ironman rain boots on. I can get him to take them off for a bath and then they go right back on. We put pajamas on the kid and he puts his gear on right over his pajams ---everynight.
* One night he would not go to sleep unless the spiderman mask holes were directly over his eyes.
* He thinks its cool to sit on the toilet as long as hes the one to get up there. If you set him up there he has to climb down and do it himself.
* He eats anything! Koby will not eat and Brodys just sitting there chowing down.
* He loves to do this little lip curl thing and he makes the weirdest face. He has been doing it since he was little.

I know there is more funny little things that they have been doing but thats all I can think of right now. I'll have to write them down. They keep me laughing!

So here are just a few of the things and places that I've found the boys lately. They have no fear. As you can see I've found them both sitting on the changing table in their room, in the hall closet after emptying all of the blankets, and Brody on a latter in the garage. Kalebs dad was teasing Koby that he was a baby the other day so Koby started teasing him back that he was a baby. Well we got out the bottle and pacifier and Koby was taunting him with it. Brody thought they were funny. And that was that. Then the other day Brody moves a chair over to the counter and gets out the pacifier and bottle and was sucking on them! Ha! What a character

Christmas! I know I'm way behind but I'm getting it done so I'm not going to make a big stink over being late! We had a great time! We had it at Chad and Caskies down in Gilbert. The weather was awesome and we played outside. We had a really special nativity scene. I am so grateful for this time of year and the chance we get to reflect on the life of our Saviour! What a blessing! Koby would not take off his clothes so we could put on his pajamas so the poor kid slept in his clothes and pajamas. What do you do? They loved their (4-wheeler...thats what Koby called it now he slurs 4-wheeler and jeep all together)...All in all it was a great time and I'm so thankful to have a wonderful family!

GRATEFUL

As I sat thru church yesterday I became very grateful! Grateful for my amazing little family! I have some very strong willed and completely incredible boys that are going to be great people with all their energy and stubborness. They are going to do some great things! I have the most loving husband who supports me and loves me! I have the best ward family that gives me encouraging words at church and help me with the boys. They love eachother. They are good parents. They are dedicated to their callings. They love the Lord. They are the best people. I love my extended family. I have the most loving inlaws that accept me. I have the most inspiring parents and relatives that are continously doing good. They are busy people that never stop. I have some neat examples in my life and I forget to tell everyone how much I love them. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father to bless me with which I don't deserve. I am humbled. I am so blessed. Thankyou dear Father for giving me all of these wonderful blessings! I cannot express in words how I feel. Thankyou!

We had a birthday party for Koby on the 9th because Kaleb has to work on his birthday. We invited some kids from the ward and his cousin Peyton and it was fun! We had a "Happy Buzz" party because that is what Koby wanted. He was excited when I was making his cake and wanted to help. We had the fishing game and the kids got goodies and then we had cake and opened presents. We gave Koby a big Buzz and he opened it before one of his other presents that we gave him and then he was too excited about the Buzz and didn't want to open the other present. He told Peyton that he could opern it and then he told Brody that he could open it. It was funny. I love our little Koby! He is so adventurous and curious. I love when he gives me kisses and hugs! He has been starting to speak in sentences! Yesterday I was in a class at he hospital and the kids were playing outside and we could see the but they can't see us and the boys were playing with eachother and Brody fell down and I could see Koby help him up and give him a kiss on the cheeck and I know he was saying "brody k?" "brody k?" I was so proud at that moment. He is caring and kind. He loves to know what I'm doing and will come find me and say "what doing mom?" and I love it. He loves action figures. The daycare got him these little super hero figurines and he loves them! He loves Toy Story right now. They both want to watch it over and over again. He loves to get dressed by himself but gets very frustrated when something doesn't go on just right. He always has me fix his socks once I put them on. I love him so much! It is hard to believe that 3 years have passed since he was born!
Koby I hope you can be confident and courageous! That you can choose right from wrong and that you can be an example to others. I hope that you can make friends easily and treat them right. I hope you can be respectful to others and yourself. I think you are like the best person alive and I have all confidence that you will be whatever you set your mind to. I hope that you will listen to us and your family and that you will listen to the holy ghost. I hope that you will serve a mission and have a personal relationship with Heavenly Father. Carving pumpkins was fun this year! Koby and Brody wanted to be involved but did not want to remove the seeds. They thought that was "gucky." They were both interesting in the tools to carve the pumpkins. Of course...what did I expect!
Bashas had a cake decorating station on Halloween day so I tool Koby and Erin took Peyton! They loved to decorate! Koby was squeezing the frosting bag and was grunting and grunting! Everyone in the store was laughing at him. He was very proud of his cake!
Koby was ironman this year and loved every minute of it! Brody was an alligator and looked so darn cute! We went to the Bashas parking lot for the little trunk kor treat and hotdogs then we went over to Kalebs parents and kind of hung out and waited for "monsters" to come to the door then Koby would help hand out candy. He loved seeing all the costumes. Then we went around Kalebs parents neighborhood and did some trick or treating. Koby loved all of the porches that were decorated! Brody loved the succors and at one time he had two of them one in each hand and was as happy as could be!

So I was folding whites and THE SOCKS CAME OUT EVEN PEOPLE! I was suprised at myself that I was really excited about this....I tried to convince myself that "its really not that big of a deal ash...get over yourself" but the endorphins were flyin' and I couldn't supress my smile. I still was like well you can be proud Ash but don't tell anyone..just keep it in and flounder in the victory of THE SOCK BATTLE by yourself.. but that isn't nearly as rewarding so sorry if you are still reading this! I hope I'm not the only one!

So the next quite a few blogs will probably be dedicated to makin' up lost time....(a.k.a. posting about the last few months)...
This was a fishing trip that Kaleb took Koby on. The excitment of just the one on one time knowing that you are going to get all the attention for just a few hours. You are special and your dad thinks you are "it." It doesn't matter what you are talking about or what you are doing it is just knowing that you are loved. So thanks Kaleb for taking the time because those times with my dad growing up when I thought I was "it" have left imprints on me and have given me strength when I needed it the most. Gave me confidence and courage to just keep keepin' on. Love you Dad and love you Kaleb!

The other weekend Caskie and Chad had us over to their house to have a little fall get together. We had yummy dinner and then the kids decorated halloween cookies! It was fabulous! The kids played and played in the sand. Koby loved decorating his cookie and I think he did a very good job! He loves Jojo so much! They really are good buds! Love all of you sooo much!

We did a little fall craft the other night for FHE. It was so fun to watch the boys "paint" their "stained glass" leaves. At first they were timid and precise, then they became comfortable and they got paint all over themselves. I love seeing how proud they are of what they have done. I hope I can always make them feel like they are so special and that the things they accomplish are amazing! I want them to feel like they can accomplish whatever they want. I want them to know that I believe in them. Love you boys!

This is our trip to OK to visit Val awhile back. We had a great time! Alot of driving but really the kids did great and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm sad because we only took one picture of all the boys and it was definitley a lame picture. We were at the OK bombing memorial and all the boys were ready to go. The boys were funny to watch interact and wrestle with eachother! Vals new house is gorgeous with a cute little back yard and neighborhood! We took the kids to the park in their neighborhood and they had a blast! We stopped in Amarillo and ate at some intersting places! It was a fun little road trip! It was our first real raod trip vacation! I love my husband and boys! They are my everything!

Oh To Play in the Dirt

Right now our front yard is well...dirt....and I was out there shoveling it one day while the boys had at it! Of course you can picture Koby pouring dirt over Brodys head and Brody trying to eat rocks and dirt. Lets just say that we weren't out there very long. Plus the wind was blowing of course. Dirt..wind..shoveling dirt...don't mix. It was fun while it lasted though. After a nice bath the boys were good as new!

We left Brody with Kalebs sister and brother-in-law. We missed him like crazy but were glad that we didn't bring him. I love my family so much! Kaleb is kind and gentle...he would do anything for anybody....he's humble...he knows who he is...he can be pretty funny...he is a great father and the boys love him dearly...he plays with them and I love that...he helps me cook and clean...he changes diapers...he works hard to earn a good living...he never complains...he never talks bad about others...he is supportive of the things I want to accomplish...he is oh so patient...these are just a few of the reasons I love my way handsome husband! I love him so much! This picture was taken on his birthday! It was way back in Jan..Jan 8 but I wanted to express my love for him! Love you babe!

"Dating"

First I have to say that "dating" when your married (or my experience of dating since I've been married) has sort of been lame. By "dating" I mean going on a date with the hubby! We will last minute say lets go out to eat or lets go play raquetball and then we rush to try to find someone to watch the kids. We are usually gone for seriously a few hours and its fun to get away but still....well the other day
Kaleb says, "You should call Anna and ask her to babysit Saturday."
I say,(not catching any hint) "Why"
"Because its Valentines on Sunday."
"Oh it is?"
I was so shocked that he thought in advance....What a guy! I sure do love him and his cute little self! I am excited to go on a date with him.. no kids...just me and him! I'm just happy he thought of me. I'll let you know how it goes!

Well we had a great day this past Sunday! My sister Allee and her husband Brandon came and visited us and we had dinner and laughed and played! The boys were crazy and were getting into everything! I just wanted to say thanks for coming! We loved it!

We weighed the boys and Koby weighed 25lbs and Brody the little chunker weighed 28lbs if you can believe it! His little thighs are so huge and his bubble butt! Gosh I love it!

We were down in the valley for a few days last week and had a good time with Kalebs sisters and families. Melissa picked out a dress which looks amazing! She is going to be such a gorgeous bride!

I ran my first 1/2 marathon and finished @ 1:59min which I am very happy with! I totally died at mile 10 and would train even harder next time. It was a great feeling to come across the finish line!

Well, I guess I should update even though I don't have alot to say. I love the new year and a chance to start fresh with a whole new set of goals. I would have to say that I'm not very good at keeping the goals. I always set new ones each year but then I don't do very good at the follow thru. I was thinking that if I even kept one of my goals how great that would be. I am happy to be working on improving myself. I want to look back and really say, "wow, look how much I grew this year." So I am really going to try and work on my goals. It is time to change! It is time to become better and to be the person I was destined and foreordained to be.

Christmas was so fun this year! We got to spend it at our house with our little family! Koby loved opening his presents! He would tear them open pretty quick! Christmas...I love this time of year...the smells, the excitement in the air. I think that Christmas is all about LOVE. Loving more, loving deeper, loving unconditionally. I think about Mary and Joseph and the love that they had for each other and for the babe in swaddling clothes. I think about the circumstances and how tired and grumpy I would be. I'm sure I would be snapping at Kaleb and cursing the situation of being big and pregnant and riding on a donkey for who knows how long and then to lodge in the humblest of circumstances and give birth to the Saviour of the world in a stable with no mother to help or midwives to care for me and the baby. I think about Christ and his unfailing love for me. I think about love that I have for my boys and Kaleb. I LOVE them so much! I love our families! I love the gospel. I love my young women. I love that I have a home to live in. I love that Kaleb and I have great jobs. I love the temple and that we are sealed for eternity! I am so grateful for everything that I have! I am so blessed! Merry Christmas to everybody!

Here are some Halloween pictures of the boys. I had to work so I didn't have time to paint their faces. Bummer! They were still cute anyways. We went to an older couples house in our ward...(they always say hi to the boys and just treat them so sweet!) and Koby kept seeing candy in little jars or bowls in their house. Let's just say he figured out the candy thing! We had a fun evening and just enjoyed seeing the boys in their cute costumes! I forgot to rotate these so you are just going to have to turn your head to look at them! So on Sunday Kaleb and I were in the living room and Brody was in his crib. Koby was wondering around the house. We hear Brody laughing alot and we sneak back to their room and find Koby in Brody's crib. He was giving him zuberts (you know when you blow on someones belly) and jumping up and landing on his bum which made Brody come off the bed a little. It was so adorable. Brody gets excited when Koby comes by him..he starts kicking his little legs and flailing his little hands as fast as they will go. I hope they grow up to be best buds! Oh I know they will fight but I just hope I can teach them to love one another and to play together.

I took this on my phone so the quality isn't the best. I was undressing Brody and had left his onsie on his head and Koby wanted to be like Brody and have a shirt on his head too! So cute!

Ok well ALOT has happened since I last posted! I have been terrible this summer at posting and taking pictures! My boys are growing like crazy! Brody is 4 months old now and just the cutest thing ever! He will smile at anything! He is so chubby and has alot of rolls. I just took him to the doctor and he is 90% for height and 97% for weight! Chunker! He is reaching for things and is drooling alot (no teeth yet please)!!! Koby is just a little firecracker! He has found out how to use his toys to climb up onto the bathroom counter and get into EVERYTHING and to scoot a chair up to the kitchen counter and get into EVERYTHING! I love him even though he gets into things! We have Kalebs Aunts dog Coco with us right now and Koby LOVES that dog so much! He is such a fun playmate for Koby! We have been busy canning all kinds of things lately. We've done beef, peaches, peach pie filling, green beans and pears! They all turned out really well! I love canning and would say that it is definitely a hobby! What else? I don't know just life I guess! I will do better at keeping an update!

He also steals his blanket and pacifier but I think he really does love his baby brother and I'm so excited for them to play when Brody gets older. Well this past Sunday we blessed Brody in our ward. It was so fun to have our families come and support us. Brody is so special to me. He is really sweet and I know that he came straight from the pre-existence where he lived with our Heavenly Father. Awhile back we were at my parents house and they have a picture of Jesus hanging on their wall and my dad was holding him and he was just staring at the picture of Christ. I know that he knew him and talked with him. I'm so blessed to have the experience of nurturing one of these blessed spirits. I love him so much! I love watching Koby and him and how they interact. Well its not so much Brody interacting but more Koby I guess. He loves his little brother and never misses an opportunity to kiss on him. We love them both! Oh, how they have blessed our lives and especially mine!

Well I have a little bit of time so I will catch up on a few things. This last weekend I got to spend some time with my Aunt Kristi and my closest pal and cousin Val. We had a great time. I can't really explain this weekend. I haven't had such a learning moment since I was in college. You know those times when it is like..oh this is what I'm supposed to do. Well lets just say I had one. Koby had a really hard time this weekend and I was absolutely amazed he could act so bad. He's never really acted that bad before. Val and Aunt Kristi were so patient with Koby and I. We learned so much about discipline and being consistent. It feels so good to be able to get away for a little bit, to clear your mind and to be able to recommit myself to being a better wife and mother. Val is such a good little mom and it helps to learn from good examples. Anyway, I love you Val. Thanks so much for teaching me ALL the time!

Ok well I finally got a night light and last night was the first adventure. He actually fell asleep pretty quick and he was on the bed! But....he woke up in the night and was crying and crying for like at least 45 min and I went in there and layed on the bed with him and he settled down. Then when I would try to get up he would start to cry again so I just sat on the floor by his bed and told him to lie down and he did. He would sit up a few times to see if I was still there. Finally he was I guess comfortable enough and I slipped out of his room and he slept the rest of the night. He was awake when I left the room and he looked at me but stayed laying down. I was happy with that. Hopefully it will be better tonight but not too bad for the first night. He took him naps today on the bed too!

I just went over to the neighbors house to introduce myself and Koby and give them a loaf of bread. People are nasty! I can't believe how some people live. The smell of smoke and dirty houses that stink! I'm so grateful I know better! By the way the people were really nice but still...take care of your house!

I just want to type a little post just saying how cute my little Koby is. I don't know what I would do without him. I mean it is alot of work to teach him everything and it is hard to change a million diarrhea diapers but...nothing is better when he looks at me with that cheesy grin that he has. Nothing. Lately he has been learning so much...when I ask him where the baby is he'll lift up my shirt and point to my huge growing belly and he'll even give it kisses. The other day he was sitting on my lap and just put his head down on my belly and just sat like that for awhile. Koby doesn't hold still and he doesn't really just let you hold him so times like this are so precious to me. I know that I won't be the best mom in the world. I'm learning that there is no way that I'm going to be the best at anything but I can show him that I love him more than anything.
Last night I wanted to try the toddler bed so I put all of his stuffed animals on the bed and went out of the room to get some outlet covers when he started screaming. Well he had gotten on the toddler bed and fallen and hit his lip. He had a fat lip...well I still was determined to try it. So I layed him down and we started to read some books. It lasted for a few minutes and then I tried to turn the light out and shut the door. He screamed loud and I realized that we were going to have some serious injuries so I will get a night light so he won't do too much damage to himself and then we'll try again. When I opened the door he was already practically to the door and I only left for a second. I love my little guy so much!

He sat on my lap for along time just eating them, watching TV with me. He has been so fun lately. He is starting to copy things that we do and to even sometimes do what we ask him to do. Trust me it isn't very often but it is so fun to realize that he is understanding what we are saying. He has this smile that is just too cute! It is so crazy to think how much I want him to be happy. I want him to be a good boy and I want him to learn all that he can. I am so exited for this newe year and how much he will change. It is so fun to watch him grow. Here are a few pictures of Christmas. We spent it in Snowflake with my family. We had such a good time with everyone. The kids are getting so big and they would go upstairs and play with eachother or when the kids would go to bed we stayed up and played cards...even the boys played. We laughed alot and I just wanted to say how much I love my family. This year our gifts for eachother had to be homeade. It was hard to come up with ideas and then it took more work than usual to actually make the gifts but I think everyone would agree that they meant so much more than something you would just go out and buy at the store. Koby didn't really know what was going on at Christmas but he enjoyed playing with all the new toys. He got these sores in his mouth and did not feel well the whole time we were there. I felt relaly bad for him because it looked like it hurt really bad. His poor gums would bleed and he wouldn't eat. Poor guy. but all in all we had a great time. I'm so glad Kaleb was able to have off this year. I know it won't be like that always and I'm just really grateful for this year.

Over Christmas we went sledding up in Pinedale at my Grandparents house and we had such a blast. I actually didn't want to go at first because I hate to be freezing..I know I'm a party pooper but I've decided that it would be a great tradition if there is snow. Grandma Brimhall made cookies and hot chocolate for us and it was perfect. Koby slept the whole time which is ok. He will probably like it more next year anyway.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa

We went to the Christmas Tree Lighting in Snowflake on the 1st and had a great time! We waited in line for Santa..which was well hard because Koby wanted down to walk around and explore. Luckily Aunt Allee grabbed a bag of candy and kept him busy for a bit. Once he got up to Santa he was really cute and smiled and was looking at the elves. I didn't get a great picture but oh well I guess. After the lighting we went to my Aunt Bets and had awesome Italian food. We were able to stay the night and then make a session at the temple the next morning. I love going to the temple and just feeling peace. Its the feeling of being where your supposed to be when your supposed to be there. The feeling that everything else doesn't matter. I'm so grateful for the things that we learn there. Every time I go I just feel PEACE.

Well Mr Ohia turned 1 on the 14th and it was so fun! Kaleb was home that day so we made cakes, cupcakes, potatoe salad and cleaned up the house. It is fun to kind of plan a party and get all ready for it. I loved the way the cake turned out and I loved how Koby dug into it! He loved all of his presents and was way funny! Erin and Josh brought their video camera so we have most of it on tape which is so fun, thanks so much! Then on Saturday we went to Snowflake to haul wood with my family which was fun. My mom gave Koby this cute barn set that moo's and sings "old McDonald had a Farm" and Koby loves it! I just can't believe how fun it was for me to see him turn one and to have a little party! I know I'm a crazy mom.

About two weeks ago we gave up the bottle. Koby started to kind of get fussy and I didn't really know why, I was trying to limit his bottles and it just wasn't working and my mom suggested to just throw away the bottles...so I did and Koby did great! Its like he knew that my mom and I were talking about it because when I went to lay him down (without a bottle) he just layed down and didn't even cry at all and did the same thing for every nap that first day so I threw them away! Yea, no more cleaning out bottles and no more buying formula!!!! That deserves like a huge Huray!

Me well, I am growing I tell ya! I'm getting excited because we find out what we are having next Wednesday, one week from today! My mother in law is going to watch Koby so not only will we get to find out but it will be a date, and a long one at that!! We haven't been so good at doing the date thing so I LOVE it when we get to. I make such a big deal out of it and I think Kaleb is embarressed but I don't care! Well maybe I will get brave enough to take a picture of my growing belly. I didn't take any belly shots with Koby and now I think it would be kind of cool to see how big I was. I mean I know I was big but you forget how big...(do I want to remember?) Well I know this is an extremely long post and I am sorry but Koby is asleep and the dishes, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping are done so lay off.

Having a kid puts a whole new meaning to Halloween. It even brings out the kid in me and you know I sort of wanted to dress up. Maybe next year since I'll have two that will mean double duty and I'll really dress up. Kaleb had to work so he didn't get home until 6:30 then we went over to my in laws and just hung out and had fun getting some trick or treaters at their house. Koby would run over to the door when the bell rand and would just stand there and stare at the kids in costume. He must have thought that was really weird. I'm kind of bummed, well we carved pumpkins on Monday night which was very fun, the whole time Kaleb was telling me that we were carving them too early and I thought no its fine. Well we forgot to buy candles to put in them so I regret to say that our carved pumpkins that we spent 6 bucks a piece on sat on our counter and by the time yesterday arrived we had purchased candles but I they were so moldy that I did not want to stick my hand in them...lesson for next year..carve them later...or listen to kaleb...or carve them early, remember candles and stick them outside and light them and stuff, so you do really realize the are getting so gross?...

Kelepolo Happenings

Well Im not sure why but my computer won't let me download pictures right now so mom I will have to put some on here another day...This week we got to go to the doctor and suprise we got to see our baby via ultrasound. Everything looks good and the baby is growing like it should. That is such a miracle to me that a tiny little body is growing and forming tiny hands and a perfect face.
On Tuesday Kaleb came home sick with the flu, it lasted for at least 2 days and of course I contracted it as well. So far Koby hasn't gotten sick so I'm just hoping that he doesn't. It was really hard to take care of Koby with both of us being just sick, not wanting to move off the couch. Poor Koby, he was probably so bored. Lets just say there were hundreds of tiny cracker crumbs on the carpet floor.
Koby is being so silly, lately he is really into his books and will look at them for at least an hour which for an almost one year old, is really good. It is so fun when he laughs and plays with you. I love his cute smile and his funny laugh. We have this stone hearth in our house and he keeps on standing up on it. I don't know how many times I've told him "no, no." He is such a boy!

Fall Canning and a little bit of a tangent

Recently I have been really into canning. Not that I've done a ton but I am learning. A sweet lady in our ward let me pick some of her green beans and they turned out so pretty, I think. I also picked some cucumbers from her garden and got to can some relish. This was a lot of work but well worth it. One day I went over to Marci Haws house and canned applesauce and apple pie filling. The apples were so sweet we didn't even add any sugar to the applesauce. I remember helping my mom can things growing up and didn't really think anything of it but now that I'm a mom and working on food storage it really changes my perspective. I love how it feels when you put the month and year on the lid and proudly store them in you pantry. I was thinking about all that the pioneers went thru to even fix a meal and I feel like we owe it to them as sisters in zion to can and try our best to be resourceful and thrifty. I don't mean to be all mushy but I feel strongly about my women ancestors. I want them to look down on me and feel proud that I am their posterity. I want my kids to know how to make bread. I want my kids to come home from school to a warm plate of cookies and milk. I want all my kids friends to think I'm a good cook. I don't want my kids to grow up eating eggo's (or whatever they are called). I am a young mother and for that I am grateful because I have awhile to practice. I am just learning and hope to become better. I just have strong feelings for this, I want to thank my ancestors for what they went thru and for what they stood for. They were hard working women, who didn't just throw some pop tarts in the toaster. I hope I can be more like them.

Well I am excited to announce that Koby is going to be a big brother. I can't believe it. They will be 17 months apart. Of course I think it would be perfect to have a baby girl but I would love it for different reasons if it was a boy. Life is good and we are happy.

Alright so this post is just mostly my thoughts today... It is raining right now and I can't think of a better sound or smell..I love it and I'm sad to know that the monsoon will be over before I know it. We have gotten, zucchini, radishes, greenbeans and beets out of our garden so far and I love it! It is so neat to see a seed produce vegetables. I had the opportunity to go camping this last week and I loved it! The mountains are valleys are so green. The clouds are so beautiful! For the beauty of the earth. For the beauty of the skies. It is so funny to watch Koby learn new things. Well at Easter time I bought some bath toys for him and well he didn't really play with them until a few weeks ago. Ok so we wanted to take Koby swimming for his FIRST time and we have been talking about doing it but its too late or we have something that night or what not. So finally on Monday we were going to take him. It is family swim starting at 7, well he had taken an afternoon nap and I thought he was going to be so excited about the water. So we got him all dressed and ready to go and he was like so tired, he was almost asleep when we got to the pool but we took him in anyway. Kaleb took him in the water for like 5 min and he was just so tired he wanted to go to sleep. So maybe next time?! We did get one really cute photo as displayed. Abby, my sister blessed her little baby Josie this weekend so we went to the valley. We had a great time. It always seems like time goes too fast and you don't get to do everything that you wanted. On Saturday we enjoyed going to the Diamonbacks game. Man, it is so crazy to be where that many people are. We carried Koby in his cool little carrier. He actually really liked it. Reasons that I'm grateful to live in RV-

1. I take Koby to the gym with me and the girls that work there and physical therapy patients entertain him while I try to get some excercise.

2. Kaleb has gone fishing the last two weekends. (He hasn't caught anything but he's gone!)

3. We went on a date the other night and my mother-in-law watched Koby while the people we went out with had to get a babysitter!

4. It only takes like 5 minutes to get to and from work!

5. Four seasons! I can't wait til summer!

6. My mom and dad live only 1 hour away and we can go over there when my family is having FHE Sunday!

7. I get to stay home with Koby!

If money time and babysitting weren't an object where would you go and who would you go with?

Well actually this summer in Hawaii Kalebs family is having the first ever Kelepolo reunion. So I would really like to go there because we don't know much about his ancestors. It would be a perfect time to go so we could meet some of them...

When was the last time you cried?

Ah man, I wish I would have answered this a couple days ago...I cried today, yes today! I was watching this email that my mom sent about this guy who goes and welcomes the soldiers from Iraq home. He goes everyday without fail.

5 things I was doing 10 years ago 1998...

Well first I had to decide if I was 23 or 24..I always forget my age...

1. I think I was a freshmen so my sister and brother were both in high school with me, we would ride home for lunch everyday and one day we I swear killed like 3 skunks! The whole town was smelly!

2. Playing sports, gosh all you would have to do is hand me a basketball or volleyball and I would be entertained for hours.

3. Being mad at my mom when friends my age were having parties with boys and girls and well..I wasn't allowed. Now I'm so grateful! I would have gotten into alot more trouble.

4. I was so excited because well I got to do the highschool thing, like go to the games and stuff! My brother was the quaterback of the football team and I'm pretty sure I was his biggest fan, well I guess besides my mom.

5. I remember I loved my seminary class, I had alot of seniors in it and I remember really looking up to them...I know I was a dork!

5 things I was doing a year ago...

1. Being a couple months pregnant and so excited and anxious I couldn't stand it.

2. Enjoying the beautiful weather this time of year in the valley!

3. Enjoying decorating our house and painting all the walls.

4. Thinking that life couldn't get much better.

5. Loving Kaleb so much and him treating me like a delicate little lady because I was pregnant. I have the best husband!

5 favorite menories...

1. The first time Kaleb said, "I love you," we were at EA and we had just gotten back from Globe (we went and watched my sister and brother play basketball) and he was getting ready to go and he said accidentally, "goodnight, I love you." Then we both kind of stared at eachother and he was all I really meant it even though I think he was as shocked as I was that he said it. I so wish that was on video...

2. Playing racketball everyday with val and the crosby brothers. I couldn't get enough of it. Theres nothing like going to class all day and ending the day with some good ol sweat...

3. Growing up we would always wake up real early Saturday morning, (usually by the sound of my moms voice) and we would work in the yard or on the house hard all day long then around 2 or 3 or so we would take a shower and the rest of the day was ours to play with friends or do whatever. There is nothing like working all day and then taking a shower afterwards. Usually we would have hamburgers on saturday nights with homeade french fries...

4. One time in highshcool we were warming up for a basketball game and this girl and I were fighting for a rebound, well as you probably all could figure she came out on top literally...she was behind me and we both jumped up for the ball and lets just say I have teeth mark scars in the top of my head.

5. I'll never forget the feeling I had when I first saw Koby..so precious and perfect..straight from heaven..just recently visiting with those beyond the veil..watching Kaleb see him for the first time and realizing that we are so blessed.

I could go on and on about the memories thing..I don't think I could put a favorite on them....Thanks Ash, that was actually fun and kind of relaxing. Anyone who has the time and wants to do some fun reminising just go on ahead and be TAGGED.

As you can tell Koby LOVES baby food...I was a little nervous to start feeding him because, I didn't know if it was too early...but he was eating so many bottles and I was excited to feed him real stuff. Well no need to worry with this guy, he loves all kinds even the vegetables. He is not too hip on the peas but other than that we are good to go! It is so fun to watch him open his mouth when he knows its time for another yummy mouthful. We are kind of messy! Oh well!

Abby, my sister went in to the hospital at 7pm on Saturday night and was induced. So my mom and I drove from up north and along with my sister Allee stayed up all night waiting and waiting. It was so fun to goof around with them. Finally little Josie was born and is so what can I say..just a gift from heaven. Abby invited all her sisters to watch including sister in laws. It is always such a miracle. Thanks Abbby! She sure is sweet!

Chcken parmigiana

Weight Watchers Recipe (don't tell your husband) LOL

1 spray olive oil cooking spray

1 lb uncooked bonelss, skinless chicken breast, thinly pounded (four 4 -oz pieces)

2 large egg whites

1/2 cup dried bread crumbs

1 tbsp italian seasoning

1 tsp olive oil

11/2 c tomatoe sauce

1/2 cup part skin mozarella cheese, shredded

1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Coat and 8-inch pan with cooking spray.

Place egg whites in a shallow bowl. Combine bread crumbs with italian seasoning and salt; pour into another shallow bowl. Dip chicken in egg whites; turn to coat. Dip chicken in bread crumb mixture; turn to thoroughly coat.

Coat a large skillet with cooking spray and add oil; heat over medium-high heat. When hot, add chicken and cook until lightly browned and no longer pink in center. About 4 minutes per side.

Pour 1/2 cup of sauce into prepared baking dish; place chicken in dish and pour remaining sauce evenly over chicken. Sprinkle with cheeses and bake until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubble. About 25 min.

One of those things.. that I really just don't like to do right now is clip Koby's fingernails and toenails. I don't know, I wait until he's asleep and then I forget and do something else and before I know it they are so long or he'll scratch himself. It really isn't my favorite thing to do...
